8th Grade Math
All 8th graders are studying algebra. The 8-1 group is working on Chapter 10 in their book. We are studying Quadratic Equations and Functions. The 8-2 and 8-3 groups are working on Chapter 7. We are studying Functions and Slopes of Lines. We are still exploring with our TI-73 calculators. Mr. Bob Garvey, a retired math teacher from St. X, often comes on Mondays to help us with this. The students look forward to his visits because he is so creative in his instruction. We continue to have homework assignments on Mondays through Thursdays.
